AS CANNES 1992 & 1994 – 95 RETRO FOOTBALL SHIRTS
The early 1990s marked a remarkable chapter in the history of AS Cannes. From the French Riviera, the club established itself as one of the most exciting sides in French football, combining emerging talent with memorable performances on the European stage. A fourth-place finish in 1990–91 earned Cannes their first appearance in European competition, setting the scene for an era that would leave a lasting mark on the club's history.
At the heart of this generation was a young Zinédine Zidane, whose exceptional talent began attracting attention alongside experienced players such as Luis Fernandez and Franck Priou. Following a brief spell outside the top flight, Cannes returned to Division 1 in 1993 and secured another European qualification the following season. With emerging talents Johan Micoud and Patrick Vieira continuing the club's tradition of developing exceptional footballers, AS Cannes enjoyed another memorable period on the French football scene.
Celebrating this distinctive era, COPA introduces two AS Cannes Retro Football Shirts. The 1992 shirt features the club's traditional red and white colours with a striking faded stripe design, while the 1994–95 Away shirt stands out in vibrant yellow, finished with a contrasting black collar and the iconic Palm Beach sponsor. Two memorable designs that pay tribute to the talent, ambition and football heritage of AS Cannes during the 1990s.
