Medellín giants Atlético Nacional occupy the exalted status of Colombia’s most decorated football club and those iconic green and white colours have been sported by many winning teams since the 1950s, both domestically and internationally. South America's greatest honour, the Copa Libertadores, has brought just three Colombian victories and two of those were by Atlético in 1989 and 2016.
