CLUB BRUGGE 1976 - 77 RETRO FOOTBALL SHIRT

The 1976–77 season stands as one of the great chapters in Club Brugge’s history. Under Ernst Happel, the side combined quality, resilience and winning mentality to conquer Belgian football.

Club Brugge secured the league title with a 3–0 victory over Olympia, sealed by a Raoul Lambert hat-trick. They then completed a domestic double in dramatic fashion, coming from behind to defeat Anderlecht in the Belgian Cup final, with Roger Davies scoring twice in a famous comeback.

In Europe, Brugge continued to impress. After overcoming Steaua Bucharest and Real Madrid, they faced Borussia Mönchengladbach in the quarter-finals. Their European run ended there, but not before proving themselves among the continent’s strongest sides.

League champions, cup winners and a force in Europe, the 1976–77 team remains one of the finest in Club Brugge history.
