KNVB - HOLLAND: NEW RETRO STYLES

Dutch football history is shaped by pioneers and generations that forged a unique national identity. From the very first international in 1905, when Eddy de Neve inspired victory over Belgium with a historic hat-trick, the Oranje established an attacking tradition. That identity grew in 1934 with the first World Cup appearance under Bob Glendenning, driven by leaders like Puck van Heel and prolific striker Johannes “Kick” Smit, and remained strong in the late 1950s with attacking icons such as Faas Wilkes and Kees Rijvers.

By 1966, the foundations of modern Dutch football were firmly in place. Under Georg Keßler, a new generation emerged around a strong Ajax core, with Bennie Muller in midfield and talents like Piet Keizer, Sjaak Swart and a young Johan Cruyff leading the way. Cruyff’s goal against Hungary offered an early glimpse of greatness. Our new Holland retro styles celebrate these defining moments with timeless designs inspired by the history of the Oranje.
