Juventus FC 1971 - 72 Retro Football Jacket
The sudden and tragic death of Juventus coach Armando Picchi handed the little-known Czech Cestmir Vycpalek the opportunity to take charge of the club for the 1971-72 season.
His lack of profile mattered little as he led the Turin giants to the first of two successive Serie A titles in 1972, edging out both Milan and Torino by a single point after a closely contested campaign.
Pietro Anastasi was the main goal threat for Juve, and the West German Helmut Haller added valuable experience, but most excitingly this was a team full of up-and-coming players like Roberto Bettega, Antonella Cuccureddu, and Franco Causio.
