S.P.A.L. 1955 - 56 Retro Football Jacket
Having come perilously close to relegation in both of their previous Serie A campaigns, the 1955-56 season was a less stressful one for SPAL with their improving side managing a comfortable 9th place finish.
With a team built around fixtures like Giovanni Ferraro, Sergio Morin, Jeno Vinyei, and Edoardo Dal Pos, the goalscoring inspiration came from newly signed strikers Guido Macor and Carlo Novelli. Beniamino Di Giacomo contributed 8 League goals too in what was a fine debut season for the highly talented youngster.
Season highlights included fine home Serie A wins over Roma, Lazio, and near neighbors Bologna.
