FC Zurich 1981 Away Retro Football Shirt
In 1981 FC Zurich became Swiss champions for the ninth time in their illustrious history. It was a title won with a healthy margin over runners-up and local rivals, Grasshopper Club Zurich. For good measure this impressive team led by former striker Daniel Jeandupeux also won the short-lived Swiss League Cup.
This was a free-scoring side with Jurica ''Jure'' Jerkovic, Walter Seiler, Hanspeter Zwicker and Rudolf ''Ruedi'' Elsener all contributing respectable goal hauls for the season, while at the other end the evergreen keeper and club record appearance maker, Karl Grob, was still as influential as ever.
