Global music megastar Sir Elton John, a diehard Watford FC fan born in neighbouring Pinner, lived a childhood dream when he became Chairman of the club in 1976.

Sir Elton, alongside manager Graham Taylor, transformed Watford into 'The Original Family Club' and oversaw the team's rise to the upper echelons of English football. A second-place finish in the First Division, an inaugural European campaign, and a first-ever FA Cup final were just some of the highlights from a truly golden era, and more was to follow in the late-nineties with a return to the club and a heroic charge to the Premiership.

As well as regularly attending matches at Vicarage Road, Sir Elton has played three concerts at the stadium over the years and will return home in July 2022 for two very special farewell concerts on his final world tour.

The EJ x Watford x COPA Collection celebrates this truly unique relationship between Sir Elton John and Watford FC.
