PALERMO F.C. NEW RETRO COLLECTION
Few clubs in Italian football have an identity as distinctive as Palermo F.C. Founded in 1900, the Sicilian club has become a symbol of pride, passion and tradition, with its famous pink and black colours recognised far beyond the island. From the streets of Palermo to the stands of the Stadio Renzo Barbera, the Rosanero have built a footballing heritage deeply connected to the character and culture of Sicily.
The 1970s were a decade of ambition, resilience and memorable moments for Palermo. Under the guidance of former player Carmelo Di Bella, the club returned to Serie A in 1968, before continuing its journey through Italian football's second division. The decade reached its most dramatic moment in 1979, when Palermo made an extraordinary run to the Coppa Italia Final against Juventus, narrowly losing 2–1 after extra time. Players such as Spartaco Landini, Sergio Pellizzaro and Giuseppe Magherini helped shape an era that remains an important part of the club's history.
Celebrating this distinctive footballing heritage, COPA introduces the Palermo F.C. Retro Football Shirt Collection, featuring the 1970–71 and 1979–80 designs. The 1970–71 shirt combines a clean white base with contrasting black and pink chest stripes, while the 1979–80 shirt celebrates the club's famous Rosanero colours with a striking pink design and bold black detailing. Two classic retro football shirts that pay tribute to Palermo's identity, Italian football tradition and the enduring spirit of Sicily.
