PANATHINAIKOS FC
With close to 50 trophies won during a rich and storied history, Panathinaikos has elite status as one of Greece's most important sporting institutions. Winners of many titles and cups since the 1920s, the Prássinoi also has the distinction of being the only Greek club to reach a European competition final - the European Cup in 1971.
