Established as a sports club in 1860 and a football club in 1899, TSV 1860 München remain to this day one of German football's most historic and emotive names.

A powerhouse between the wars and then again in the 1960s as one of the founding members of the Bundesliga, die Löwen won the DFB-Pokal and the Bundesliga title within the space of three years in the mid 1960s.
