Arminia Bielefeld 1964 - 65 Retro Football Shirt
Apart from a promotion to the Oberliga West in 1949, Die Arminen knew few sporting successes in post-war Germany's football.
With relegation from the II. Oberliga a fate in the regional tiers of German football loomed– their Bundesliga dreams never seeming further away. But showing great resilience, Arminia's way back up was set in with promotion to the regionalliga West in 1962, ultimately culminating into achievement of the club's holy grail of Bundesliga football in 1970.
