AS CANNES
The early 1990s marked one of the most exciting periods in AS Cannes history. A fourth-place Ligue 1 finish in 1991 took the club into European competition for the first time, while a gifted generation of players helped establish Cannes as one of French football’s most intriguing sides.
Among them was a young Zinedine Zidane, alongside experienced names such as Luis Fernandez and Franck Priou. After a brief spell outside the top flight, Cannes returned to Ligue 1 and Europe, with future France internationals Johan Micoud and Patrick Vieira emerging during another memorable chapter for the club.
The AS Cannes retro collection celebrates this distinctive era with the 1992 and 1994 - 95 Away shirts, recreating two striking designs from a period defined by young talent, European football and the club’s unmistakable red and white identity.
