LIERSE SK

Founded in 1906 and always recognisable for their distinctive yellow and black shirts, Lierse SK was a club that punched well above its weight and won national titles in four different decades, as well as a couple of Belgian Cup wins.

This was a club that played in the group stages of the Champions League as recently as the late 1990s and produced many fine footballers, perhaps none finer than the prolific international striker Bernard Voorhoof.
